Technical Overview

Rexnord Tuflite® self-lubricated composite bearings offer maintenance free operation and maximum life. The bearing matrix is constructed with woven Teflon® fiber and continuous strands of fiberglass and epoxy resin. Typical applications include pivot, oscillating, linear and slow speed full rotation. Design and application engineers are available to assist equipment designers.

Rexnord's extensive range of product configurations allows for excellent design flexibility.

Woven Teflon® fiber and polyester fiber liner supported by filament wound continuous fiberglass and epoxy resin matrix.

Typical dynamic loads: 4,000 to 30,000 psi
Ultimate Strength: 77,000 psi (for 1/8" wall section)

Product Availability
Catalog and made to order bearings are available in imperial and metric dimensions.

Temperature
Continuous: Cryogenic to +325°F
Intermittent: +400°F, special resin system available to +450°F

Coefficient of Friction
Static & dynamic: .20 to .07

Round, square, hex and custom shape bores

Size Range
1/8" to 26" inside diameter round bores, consult with Rexnord for shaped bores.
